Report Your Outage

Multiple ways to report and track outages

Before You Report: Check Your Circuit Breaker

Sometimes a power loss may be caused by an issue within your home. Follow these steps to troubleshoot.

1

Protect Sensitive Devices

Unplug computers, TVs, and other sensitive electronics to protect them from power surges when electricity is restored.
2

Locate Your Circuit Breaker

Find your main circuit breaker panel, usually located near your electric meter, in the garage, basement, or utility room.
3

Inspect for Damage

Look for any signs of damage including burn marks, buzzing sounds, unusual odors, or water damage. If you notice any of these, do not touch the panel and call a licensed electrician.
4

Check Breaker Positions

Look for any breakers that are in the OFF position or stuck in the middle (tripped position).
5

Reset Tripped Breakers

To reset a tripped breaker, first push it firmly to the OFF position, then flip it back to ON. You should hear a click when it's properly engaged.
6

Still No Power?

If your breaker keeps tripping or you still don't have power after resetting, the issue may be with Power Company infrastructure. Report your outage using the button above or call 1-800-411-7343.
